How to Create a Bootable USB Flash Drive with Windows 10 Setup

We are starting a course called ‘How to go from 32bit to 64bit in Windows 10’. It will have 5 video tutorials with detailed instructions. Today’s video is the first lesson and we will show you how to create a bootable USB flash drive with Windows 10 setup. The first step is to plug in the flash drive into PC. We are going to use an app called Media Creation Tools. You can find the download link in the description box down below. Open the app. Click ‘yes’ in the new window. Read the license agreement and click ‘Accept’ if you agree. Check ‘Create installation media (USB flash drive, DVD or ISO file) for another PC. Click ‘Next’. You can use the recommended settings or you can uncheck ‘use the recommended options for this PC’. Choose the language, Edition as Windows 10 and set architecture to 64bit (x64). Click ‘Next’. Click ‘Ok’ in the new window. Check ‘USB flash drive’ and click ‘Next’. Make sure your flash drive is at least 4 GB, otherwise the app won’t be able to see it. Choose the drive and click ‘Next’. The process will begin. It will download Windows 10, verify it and then create bootable flash drive. It will take some time. You will see ‘Your USB flash drive is ready’ message in the end.
