Sometimes the situation can occur that you need to enter data in multiple sheets. yes, we know it can be by manually entering the data in one by one sheet and copying it and then pasting it into the second sheet but it can take a long time.
there’s also a way to enter data as multiple sheets at the same time
so, for example, if you have a blank workbook and you want to enter data in sheet 1 and sheet 2 of this workbook or more than two sheets.
so sheet 1 is currently selected. now you have to select the second sheet and you can do this by pressing the control button on the keyboard and selecting the second sheet.
now both sheets are selected. if you enter data in the first sheet, for example, 2015 and you will do this for all the months. ok here you will change the width then if you select the second sheet you can see that the same data is entered over there as well.
and to prove my point I will rename the first sheet to 2017 step out and I will name the second sheet 2018 step out as you can see both sheets are still selected.
to undo the selection of both sheets just again press the Ctrl button on the keyboard and the selection is undone.
and as you can see the same data is now entered in the sheets for 2017 and 2018 make sure that you undo the selection when you’re finished with the data.
that you want to replicate because if you don’t do that any other changes will also be
replicated in both sheets so always be sure to deselect this the multiple sheets once you’re done with the common data that you want to enter.
