How to Multiply columns in a MS Word
Click the “Formula” icon and enter “=PRODUCT” in the “Formula” field. You must also tell Word with cells to multiply together. For instance, if you want the two cells above your results cell to be multiplied, write “=PRODUCT(ABOVE)”.
- Click the table cell where you want your result to appear.
- On the Layout tab (under Table Tools), click Formula.
- In the Formula box, check the text between the parentheses to make sure Word includes the cells you want to sum, and click OK.
